1 London to Montreal

Your door-to-door driver takes you to London Heathrow for your non-stop Air Canada flight to Montreal. Make yourself at home for two nights at the 4 Diamond Delta Centre-Ville.

2. Montreal

On this morning city tour take in the Mont Royal Park, old Montreal and Notre-Dame Basilica. Your afternoon is at leisure for exploring or shopping.

3. Montreal to Pointe au-Pic

Journey by coach to Pointe au-Pic and enjoy a stop for lunch and a tour of the Ice Hotel in Dushesnay. Arrive in the early evening and check in to the Fairmont Manoir Richelieu 5 Diamond for 2 nights. L

4. Pointe au-Pic

A full day at leisure to enjoy exciting winter activities - why not try dog sledding or snow-shoeing. For the less adventurous, the hotel has a wonderful spa or just enjoy the marvellous scenery of the Charlevoix region.

5. Point au-Pic to Quebec City

Travelling by road, take in the Lawrentian mountain range and wide open views of the Saint Lawrence. Stop at Montmorency Falls before arriving at Hotel Delta Quebec (4 Diamond).

6. Quebec City

After a morning tour of the city highlights including the Plains of Abraham and Place Royal, the afternoon is yours to explore this small city and its traditional French architecture. Enjoy an evening visit to a Sugar Shack renowned in the Quebec region for the fun entertainment including dinner. D

7. Quebec City to Montebello

A short journey to Montebello today where on arrival you will check into the Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello (5 Diamond). The afternoon is free for you to enjoy further winter activities or perhaps the spa.

8. Montebello to Ottawa

Travel from Montebello to Ottawa with a city tour on arrival. Stay at the Lord Elgin (4 Diamond) for two nights.

9. Ottawa

A day to discover the delights of Ottawa including its museums, galleries and Parliament Buildings.

10. Ottawa to Toronto

This morning you are free to relax with a lunchtime departure on the train to Toronto in Via Rail first class. Upon arrival check into the Delta Chelsea Hotel (4 Diamond), your home for three nights. L

11. Toronto

On this morning's tour, take in the highlights of Canada's largest city, including entry to the CN Tower. This afternoon explore at your own pace.

12. Toronto

Travel notes Pack your winter woolies for this journey as this is truly Canada in Snow time. A proper winter coat and boots are a must. This tour is a blend of busy cities and peaceful, scenic countryside, just as beautiful in the winter as in the summer. A relaxed pace with plenty of opportunity, at the resort-style Fairmont properties in Point au-Pic and Montebello, to be as adventurous as you wish. Plenty of activities from a relaxed sleigh ride to the more active dog sledding or snow shoeing are available (a charge is payable locally for these activities). On Day 3, please note, departures in January and February will see the final construction of the Ice Hotel. November and December departures will see the hotel under construction). Choose your departure carefully if you wish to visit Canada during one of the festivals noted below. Sadly, we cannot guarantee snow, but we have never been disappointed by the scenery yet.
