Delphi to Kalambaka Cross Thessaly, the 'bread basket of ancient Greece', then onto visit one of the Monasteries of Meteora. Kalambaka to Athens Head back to Athens and the Metropolitan Hotel for an overnight stay, stopping at Thermopylae to see the memorial to Leonidas and his brave Spartans. B

10. Cruising - Crete to Santorini Sail to Heraklion this morning, site of the ruins of King Minos' Palace of Knossos. Your ship weighs anchor beneath the towering cliffs of ancient Thira on the island of Santorini. B L D
11. Athens After breakfast arrive in Athens where you have time to shop for some last minute souvenirs, or to relax and enjoy the facilities of your hotel. Overnight at the 4 Diamond Metropolitan Hotel. B
12. Athens to UK Transfer to the airport for your homeward bound flight. Your driver will meet you at your chosen airport and take you home. B

Travel notes
This is a combination of coach tour and cruise. Driving times are not too long and are interspersed with sightseeing stops. After your main sightseeing, you will have a chance to unwind for four nights on your Greek Islands cruise.
